    Tony Monk Films owns and operates the world’s leading GSS gyro stabilized camera systems, which have six-axis of movement to deliver rock steady images. With the ability to attach to any moving platform (from vehicles, helicopters, planes, boats to ATV’s), and to install and interchange nearly any camera and lens combination, the GSS offers boundless filming opportunity, at the highest quality. As with all the GSS Cinema gimbals there are no ITAR restrictions, so gimbals can easily be transported as excess baggage with our camera operators, to any location in the world.

    Our GSS Cinema Pro + has been optimised for full size cinema camera’s and lenses, and with our universal lens kit it gives us the ability to combine nearly any payload combination that the shoot requires.

    All of the Tony Monk Films Camera Systems can be attached via specialised Mounts to Aircraft and Helicopters; a range of Vehicles and Boats at varying heights and mounting points; Cranes, Jib Arms and Tracks. These all deliver amazing angles and tracking shots while maintaining perfect stability in any conditions.

    TMF Camera Mounts are STC and EASA certified for a range of  aircraft and helicopter types. If you need something different we can build custom brackets to meet your shoot requirements.

    Drone Filming

    Tony Monk Films provides the latest in drone technology, coupled with experienced aerial cinematographers and drone pilots to deliver high end, safe and professional results.

    Our team are experienced with a range of drones from the Mavic Pro 2, Phantom and Inspire 2 (single or dual operator), through to heavy lift drones. All of our drone operations come with strict safety plans and will be operated under either the CAA Part 101 or Part 102 certification depending on your shoot requirements, ensuring a safe and professional work environment.

    Live Linking

    Tony Monk Films uses the latest cellular bonding units on the market, the LiveU, which delivers unparalleled video performance with bandwidth efficiency. We can arrange air to ground live linking to your shoot’s base station, through to streaming on a private web link, for clients to view remotely.

    Helicopter Hire

    The importance of a skilled pilot and correctly spec’d helicopter is top priority when sourcing an aerial provider for your shoot. TMF works closely with a selection of approved Helicopter companies throughout New Zealand and internationally who are prepared to spec their machinery to take the new generation camera systems, ensuring a hassle free, turn-key solution. TMF will organise all of your helicopter requirements.

    Tony is recognised as a dedicated Film Pilot and offers his experience and knowledge to fly filming operations in all regions of New Zealand, Fiji, Australia or where requested.
